July 17th Tea Party - Brigitte Gabriel

Tea Party triumphs over NAACP lies

"Despite a total blackout from the liberal media in the New Orleans area, the Northshore Tea Party attracted 2,000 people to the Fleur de Lis Center in Mandeville on Saturday. This was the group’s largest crowd in their 18-month history as part of the incredible Tea Party movement, the most substantial political force to hit this country in decades."

This Saturday, December 12, 2009, amidst Christmas shopping, parties, vacations and bad weather, over 250 concerned citizens attended Northshore Tea Party’s fourth tea party event, held at The Gallery in Slidell, Louisiana, from 1-3 P.M. Parents, grandparents and even children took time out of their busy holiday schedules, all concerned over the direction of our current government. Speakers included Dorinda Bordlee, Exec. Director of the Bioethics Defense Fund, Murry Magness of GOOOH Louisiana, John Kennedy, State Treasurer of Louisiana, Dr. Rich Roth, Louisiana Coordinator of the Million Med March, and Former Governor of Louisiana, Buddy Roemer. They spoke on healthcare, out of control government spending, and ways to reduce the size of government, returning power to the hands of the people.

9-12 March on Washington D.C.

The march on the Capital was a huge success. White House claims it didn't know the rally took place. With counts ranging from 60,000 to 2 million people, and the event publicized on t.v. and radio for months, that claim is a little hard to swallow. Read more and see rally pics at Watch C-Span coverage here.

Nationwide Congressional Recess Rally

Hands Off Our Healthcare Rally

8/22/09 - Metairie, LA. The Rally was a huge success. We had around 1,200 people present. Photos are posted on our site.

No angry mobs, just concerned Americans looking for solutions together.

One highlight of the event was when the crowd started singing along to Lee Greenwood's "I'm Proud to be an American"

We had several people from the media present. The Times Picayune reported incorrectly that Sen. Vitter organized the event.

WDSU has an article posted here.
