Gov. Jindal and LA Attorney-General Caldwell need some prodding to join a lawsuit which seeks to bar the number of illegal immigrants from being counted in the 2010 census when apportioning representatives to the U. S. House (which also determines how many Electoral College votes each state gets in presidential elections).

Please contact Gov. Jindal and AG Caldwell and ask them to lend Louisiana’s support to this lawsuit. If LA does not, states with large illegal immigrant populations will gain representation in the U. S. House and gain Electoral College votes, while states with small illegal immigrant populations like Louisiana will lose them.
